  1. Overall, nice work. As I said in my email, it feels long. A 4-5 min cut would flow much better, I think. Also, I'd say that your entire soundtrack could come down just a hair. Your dB level is often in the red.

  2. Does anyone else kill Jason off in their film? He is like a cat, he must have nine lives.
I agree it feels slightly long for this project, maybe in general. It is really good. I like so much, good lighting and/or coloring. The XLS are great. I don't like where the info on Jason comes in at the end, I feel like I didn't get enough time to process the ending, but I am not entirely sure the relationship of who died. I love the climax, my friend and I gasped, it was perfect.

  3. I thank you both for your feedback.

I've spent a lot of time watching it over in succession and I'm in complete agreement about the length. Cutting it down some shouldn't be too difficult, as well as adjusting the sound levels. And as per the items with the text, I'll play around with that as well.

I can definitely see your perspective, Jackie, on how you mentioned misunderstanding the relationship. I may edit Jason's character name to "Jason Monroe's Brother", or something to the effect of establishing that he was in fact family to the deceased in the letter.

But, I'm glad you both had that reaction! That tells me I did something right! Lol.

And again, my gratitude for taking the time.

  4. Oh, also. I like the use of text. A couple of spots may have been slightly distracting or awkward; I think it might have been due to the placement of the text on screen. I liked the use of text during the movie. We really liked the font that you used in the beginning and the end with the line . . . It was a striking and strong font. Nice job.
