I really liked that you put this on vimeo. It makes the quality look so much better than Youtube. The story was really strong and I appreciate someone making a film like this. I really like how you cut the clips and the fade in effect that you added really helped to add to your film. It worked well. Good job!
It came out really good Jackie! Did u ADR the audio?the only thing I noticed was when the three are having a meeting and donovan says she should say she cheated it looks a little off.
Jackie, I love your project! It is really well edited & directed. I think it's a great film. It opens people's eyes to a very important topic in another perspective. I don't have much to critique, but if I am going to get picky, the first scene where they are having breakfast, the flowers are really exposed. I'm not sure if you tried to fix that it would mess up the other lighting in the shot, but it's worth a try. I know the scene of the woman getting raped was hard to put together, but it honestly looks terrific. It came a long way since your first rough cut and I wouldn't change anything about that now. Great job!!

ReplyDeleteAlso.... in the beginning with the fade I think you should cut the wife getting up from the table sooner.
