Can you post the original scene for reference? It feels dark, but I know the original scene is dark. The opening shot is probably too dark, though. And yes, some shots of the computer are totally out of focus. I hope everyone spot this for future reference.
Although I haven't watched the original scene, it does feel like you managed to capture the "essence" of what exactly it was you were going for. As you and Alex have already mentioned, the computer shots - particularly the one where the username and password are entered in, is rather blurred and it's hard to make out. But the cuts worked in conjunction with one another. The music suits the mood, and the feeling of trepidation and suspense exists. But after a little polish on those items, I think you'll have something you'll be even happier with.
Thanks! So the only thing I would add is that the character in the original scene is backlit very well, whereas Dan is completely underexposed. But your primary issue is the focus. The lighting overall looks pretty good.
Some shots are blurry and I have to add in a few more shots but besides that let me know your thoughts guys

ReplyDeleteI think you cut it well Molly. We could do a little color correction in the beginning and it would really help.

ReplyDeleteI figured out how to record what is on my computer screen. We could redo some of the screen shots that way.
